Simple Twist of Fate

Here's a nice version of the Blood on the Tracks classic, with Scarlet Rivera playing violin Desire style.

You caused me to go on a YouTube Dylan freak-out. When I was supposed to be mowing the lawn. Thanks a lot.

I went on a similar freak out. The best of the videos may be the one linked to here, or maybe the 'Hattie Carrol' one. Or maybe the duet with Johnny Cash. Or maybe the one where the woman rushes him onstage and ends up singing a duet with him. Or maybe the original 'Jokerman' video, which I'd never seen but always heard about. Or maybe 'Shelter from the Storm', when he wears a diaper on his head. Or maybe ...

They're just all so good.

The Traveling Wilburys videos are pretty good, too. And someone did a fairly kick-ass animation to Tweeter and the Monkey Man. Oh, and did you find the Infidels recording sessions with Knopfler? Dylan has the goofiest denim hat on, completely at odds with his soulful eyes-closed seriousness in delivering lines like, "Man thinks 'cause he rules the world he can do with it what he pleases ...."
